Where vintage hawaii meets modern day

We are an Ohana from Lāhainā, Maui.  The wahine is born and raised in the Hawaiian islands, the kāne is all the way from Mexico.  Together we make up La Tienda (translates to "the store"), which is a blend of both our cultures.  The vibrant colors of Mexico and the designs and patterns of Hawaii inspire the creations they make.  Rooted in Hawaiian and Mexican heritage, our brand carries the spirit of old Hawai’i - its colors, its designs, its aloha.  We bring that timeless island feeling into everyday wear, honoring Hawaii’s native species and culture with every piece.

Our mission at la Tienda is to bring old Hawai’i into the modern world.  We are deeply inspired by the patterns and colors of the vintage days in paradise.  Our tees gives us all a way to stand proud in who we are, wearing our culture boldly, showing the aloha and heritage we carry inside.  Our core values are honoring ‘āina, carrying our kuleana to culture, and sharing Hawai’i with others in a way that is respectful and true.

All our shirts are manufactured in an eco-friendly and ethical way and are made with 100% cotton, because who needs plastic in their clothes!  The designs are created and screen printed in Lāhainā, Maui.
